There are a number of profitable OSRS bosses that you can take on in Old School Runescape. If you have been looking to earn more OSRS GP, then the Nightmare boss is a great option. So before you consider having to buy OSRS gold, then you should check out this OSRS the Nightmare boss battle. Before you do so, here is what you need to know.
Who is The Nightmare Boss in OSRS?
The Nightmare of Ashihama, who is often referred to simply as The Nightmare, is a beast that feeds upon her victim’s nightmare zone when they are asleep. You won’t need to meet any requirements to fight The Nightmare, but you will need to be able to get to Morrytania.
Where to Find The Nightmare
Beneath the town of Slepe is where The Nightmare is based, in the Sisterhood Sanctuary. This isn’t where the final battle will take place however, as you will be sent to a fight arena in a dream world. There are a number of ways in which you can reach The Nightmare, such as teleporting to Ver Sinhaza via Drakan’s medallion.
way is to teleport to the Hallowed Sepulchre with a Hallowed crystal shard. This can be done after you have finished Sins of the Father, then going to the shortcut to the east section of the city. You could also row to Slepe after paying Andras 10,000 coins after using the Ectophial to teleport to the Ectofuntus. Finally, you can use Morytania legs 3 or 4 so you can teleport to Burgh de Rott, then heading east to take the boat to Slepe.
About the Fight
To get started with the battle, go over to the boss’ body and click the disturb option. Players will have a 30 second window before beginning the fight, then players will need to wait until the boss fight is over if they miss it and still want to join.
The Nightmare doesn’t really work like other OSRS bosses, in that its health and combat stats will scale to how many players are in the fight. This can be indicated by her location in the room, as she will be in the middle lying on the ground if there’s a group of players fighting it. Meanwhile, you will find a symbol on the floor that will tell you the phase she is in during the fight.
The Nightmare OSRS is capable of dishing out a melee attack that isn’t hindered by accuracy, and will max hit you every time. She will also produce 20% base damage if you are using Protect from Melee, and if you don’t use the right protection prayer then it will see you taking 120% damage.
As for drops, each player that has managed to deal damage to the totems in the arena as well as the metal shield will be able to get a drop table. The amount is increased based on the amount of damage that you have dished out.
Whichever player deals the most amount of damage will get big bones and 10% added non-unique items to pick up. When the unique drops are rolled, you will see a weighting system that is based on damage dealt and will see which player received it. Those that have met the requirements of a unique drop will get regular bones.
On the subject of unique drops, one of these drops known as the siren’s charm, which is used with a mage’s book to make the siren’s tome, which passed Nightmare of Ashihama. That being said, there was a decision made the following day after the poll had closed to stop it from being released in Old School Runescape. The reason is that there were concerns about the arcane spirit shield, and how it would devalue it accordingly.
How Much Will You Make?
Running the boss could actually make you 10M per hour, but there are a few factors to consider. You would need to make sure that you have max gear and alts that are running supplies if you are going to make this amount. Without alts or max gear, you could still stand to make around 6M per hour, so it’s still a decent amount to be made by taking on this OSRS the Nightmare boss.
So, finding a seller that will sell OSRS gold isn’t all that necessary with this boss, since you can make a fair amount of OSRS GP by fighting it. There will be a lot to be made per hour, so consider taking it on when you are ready.Have you tried this OSRS Nightmare boss? Let us know in the comments section below!
